I listened to an interview with the Swedish DJ and music producer Christian “Bloodshy” Karlsson, who’s worked with artists like Britney Spears, Madonna, and Katy Perry.
I had never heard of him, to be honest, but he seemed like a very humble, down-to-earth, and nice guy.
When the interviewer said that his favorite Britney track was *Unusual You*, Christian told him the story behind the song. Halfway through, he paused and said, “How do I say this so it doesn’t come out the wrong way?”
He went on to explain that the person who wrote the song was very overweight and had a rather particular look, and that he thought she’d probably had quite a challenging life. But to Christian and his partner, Pontus, she was nothing other than a great songwriter to work with.
Later on, she explained that she had written the song to them, because of how they treated her. She felt seen and respected in a way she’d never experienced until then.
To her, they were the *unusual you*.
My Wordwrap theme now has a name: Wrapture 😎
What's new in 1.1:
- Styles for replies on Wordwrap, matching the Mastodon ones
- A tidy "↪" line on reply entries
- A styled Replies page
That's a wrap, folks!
Same here, decided to do it tomorrow instead. I will, I promise 💪😅
Version 1.0 of my Wordwrap theme is out, with styles that make replies look nicer. Here's an entry with a few replies to see it in action. That's a wrap!
Added styles for the new Wordwrap avatar addition. Also included an optional tagline. Code needs some tweaking, but I need to work :)
- Code
- Demo
Made a Notes page for my Pika blog that shows the entries from my Wordwrap journal. Quite a nice fit, if you ask me.
One last post, just to see how an entry looks in the mono font. Sorry about my not-so-mono posting this past hour :)
I can haz photos in Wordwrap?
Yes, I can. Not sure I’ll use it much, but it’s nice that it’s possible. 📸
Let’s see what happens if I write a post in serif instead of my default sans. Guess it’s a per-post feature, and hopefully my custom font stack kicks in.
